Fix It Friday Is Here Again

It has been sooooo long since I have participated in a iHeartFaces Fix it Friday. I’m so excited to be back! You should go over to iHeartFaces and spend a few moments browsing through the other creative ideas for the “fix”!

My Fix

I adjusted the levels/curves to help it become a little more richer, and to help the parents stand out a little more in the background – to help with this also I cropped it so the focus is more on the children/family than the distracting feet/toys/rock/etc. I ran PW Seventies action to about 13%, just for a little hint of something different and a did a little edge burning.

It's amazing what a little editing can do to one image! I've very much enjoy this process and think it is one of my favorite things to do. I've been taking tutorials and classes on Adobe Photoshop CS4 and little by little I'm learning, I think I'm getting better. But here are the photos for this week!

I had a really hard time with this image this week, but here is what I ended up with, I hate how the left side of her pretty little face is all dark, and I couldn't get the processing right so that there wasn't all the 'noise' on that side as well... oh well, did the best I could!
