My life is going through changes, I’m going through changes – everything is changing, so I’m changing my blog. My rules. While I’m changing things up on the blog this weekend, it’s going to not be the best laid out / most functional place, but when Sunday evening comes around I’ll hopefully have it the way I want it. It’s going to be a busy weekend for me – packing, blog editing, picture taking (finally I KNOW), updating my photography site, still looking for someone to work with on subdomain/mapping, those are skills I seriously lack in, doesn’t make any sense to me, but I know it does to some :). I also want to thank Timi over at Cinnamon Girl Design Studio for all her help in getting my comments back after they decided to disappear and not return, thanks soooo much – if you need a new layout she’s definitely the one to go visit!

.this is not my kitchen, but the cabinets and the layout are the same, along with the stainless appliances, so excited to see mine hopefully soon!.

My home is soooo white! The only way to get white ceilings was to paint the walls white as well. With the builders they do a standard 2 tone paint, which is trim and doors white and then the ceiling and walls one of their standard colors. If you want a 3 tone paint (ceilings/trim/doors white & walls color) they charge a significant amount of muh-laa to do this. I knew I was going to be painting my walls anyway and didn’t want to attempt to tackle painting 9’ ceilings, we paid a minimal paint request fee to have them do the walls/ceiling in white. Therefore, my house looks like you are on a cloud or in heaven, whichever you prefer – as there isn’t anything of color yet since they just painted and the floors have overspray of white – it is however, extremely exciting to see it all come together!
