INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Lemon Cake Mix
- 2 egss
- 1 t. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup vegtable oil
- 1 cup pecan halves
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and lemon peel in large bowl.
- Stir until thoroughly blended.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Press pecan halves in center of each cookie.
- Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
- Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets.
- Remove to wire racks and cool completely
You may substitute almonds or walnut halves for the pecans.
